This symbol marks devices, which emit non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation (see chap-
ter "Electromagnetic compatibility").
Meaning of the first digit: Protected against solid foreign bodies with a diameter greater
IP 22
than 0.1" (2.5 mm). Protected against access with a finger. Second digit: Protection against
dripping water falling vertically when the housing is tilted up to 15°.
