− Do not expose the device to direct sunlight and excessively high or low tempera-
tures. Only use and store the device in a dry environment that is free of contamination.
− During use, the blood pressure monitor may interfere with other electric or electrical
equipment. Therefore, do not use the blood pressure monitor in the vicinity of other
electric devices.
− Protect the blood pressure monitor against dirt, direct sunlight, severe temperature
fluctuations, chemicals and mechanical shocks.
− Do not let the blood pressure monitor fall, do not shake it and do not expose it to
shocks.
− Do not start the measurement process until the cuff has been fitted.
− Do not immerse the blood pressure monitor in water and do not rinse it off under
running water.
− Protect the cuff from sharp and pointed objects.
− Do not place any heavy objects on the blood pressure monitor or the cuff.
