Irregular heart beat

Automatic inflation function

There are four defined pressure settings for this device: 190 mmHg, 230 mmHg, 270 mmHg and 300 mmHg.
If a pressure of 190 mmHg is not sufficient or if the wrist is moved, the device will automatically use a suitable
pressure to ensure that the measurement is successful. This is not an error.

Fast deflation during the measurement

If you feel unwell while taking the measurement or discontinue the measurement for another reason, push
the Start/Stop button
mode.
Irregular heart beat
If the blood pressure monitor detects an irregular heart rate at least two times during
the measurement process, the symbol for cardiac arrhythmia

display
together with the measurement results. An irregular heart rate is either 25 %
over or under the average rate, which is determined while measuring the systolic and
diastolic blood pressure. Consult your physician if the symbol for cardiac arrhythmia
is often shown together with your measurements (see Fig. 7).
