Performing a measurement
− Remove the cuff from your arm in the event of a malfunction of the blood pressure
monitor.
Fitting the cuff
1. Sit at a table and use the table as a support for your arm while performing the measurement or use an
arm cushion to support your arm. Make sure that your wrist is approximately at the same level as your
heart and that your forearm is naturally extended on the table; the palm of your hand should be facing
up (see Fig. D).

2. Put on the cuff
(1–2 cm) of space between your wrist and the cuff (see Fig. D).
Using the cuff does not pose any biological risk/hazard to the user if it is worn on the skin.
Before use, let the device adjust to the temperature of the room or surroundings to prevent
incorrect measurements.
