7.1 Transport and storage

Any transportation or storage damage must be reported immediately to the person responsible
and to RK Rose+Krieger GmbH.
The product is to be checked by suitable personnel for visible and functional damage.
It is forbidden to put damaged controllers into operation.
The following environmental conditions have been specified for storing the controller:
•
contact with solvent-based paints must be avoided
•
Lowest / highest ambient temperature: -25 °C/+60 °C
•
Relative humidity in storage: falling below the dew point is not permitted
Divergent environmental factors must be approved by RK Rose+Krieger GmbH.
7.1.1 Storage of the rechargeable batteries (RKMultiControl mono accu only)
•
Prior to storage, the rechargeable battery should be fully charged and disconnected from all
electrical consumers.
•
The rechargeable battery also discharges during storage and should be recharged after
6 months at the latest.
•
Ambient conditions for storage: temperature +10 °C to +40 °C, relative humidity: 25% to
85%.
•
A rechargeable battery ages during storage and should be used as quickly as possible.
•
When storing the rechargeable battery, ensure that the contacts of the rechargeable battery
are not short-circuited by conductive objects.
Divergent environmental factors must be approved by RK Rose+Krieger GmbH.
