50,000-count Benchtop Multimeter
Press key briefly to validate mode and keep pressed down to exit mode.
There are two operating modes:
"HOLD" mode
"AUTO HOLD" mode
"HOLD" mode allows you to freeze the measurement on screen (key
currently being pressed) while the instrument carries on managing its
measurement.
Thus, the range selection mode remains unchanged, "AUTO" or "MANUal"
according to the configuration when HOLD function was accessed.
"AUTO HOLD" mode allows you to automatically freeze the current
measurement on screen when each stable measurement is found and
confirmed by emitting a beep (if the "bEEP OFF" configuration has not
been selected in MENU).
Recorded values remain on screen until the next stable measurement is
performed (different measurement than 0 ± n digits) or until you exit
"AUTO HOLD" mode.
Range selection is "AUTO" or "MANUal" according to the configuration
when accessing mode.
"REL" mode allows you to take the current main measurement as a
reference. From then on, the main display shows the difference between
the measured instantaneous value and recorded reference.
Display 3 shows the reference value, while display 2 shows % difference in
relation to the latter
Range management is either "AUTOmatic" or "MANUal", according to the
configuration when accessing mode and displays 1 and 3 are managed in
the same range.
In "AUTO" mode, you cannot go below the range of the reference available
when accessing "REL" mode.
"REF" mode allows you to set the reference used for the current
measurement on screen.
In "REL" mode, this secondary function allows you to adjust the reference
value available when accessing this mode that is shown on display 3.
Also, when the "Volt" measurement secondary function is "dB", it allows
you to adjust the display 2 voltage reference.
"SURV" mode allows you to monitor signal variations and record main
measurement extremes ("MIN" and "MAX"). The corresponding date and
time for each stored magnitude is recorded.
"MIN" and "MAX" data are erased when accessing "SURV" mode, not
when quitting "SURV", and data can still be consulted after quitting this
mode.
In "SURV" mode, you can select "MANU" or "AUTO" range management.
Automatic range changes only operate when moving up ranges.
