11. Care and storage
Careful handling and constant care of the product is necessary to ensure
the proper function of the breathing protection hood.
11.1. Cleaning and Disinfection
Attention!
Damage from unsuitable cleaning agents
Use of aggressive cleaning agents can damage the breathing protection
hood.
→ Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. Use
SATA wet & dry cleaner (# 75358) for cleaning.
→ "Incidur" from Henkel can be used for disinfection.
Notice!
When in daily use, the breathing protection hood should be disinfected
once a week; if not stored air-tight, it should be disinfected every six
months.
When the same breathing protection hood is used by different persons,
the breathing protection hood should be disinfected after every use.
Use "Incidur" from Henkel for disinfection.
We recommend here that a separate hood is purchased for every per-
son.
Cleaning should be carried out after six months at the latest, even of the
breathing protection hood has not been in use.
The breathing protection hood can be easily dismantled for cleaning and
for the replacement of defective parts without the use of tools. The breath-
ing protection hood must be cleaned of sweat and condensate after every
use.
■ Clean the breathing protection hood thoroughly using the SATA wet and
dry Cleaner (# 75358).
■ After every cleaning, inspect the breathing protection hood for damage.
11.2. Storage
New units and spare parts have a shelf life of 5 years as long as they are
stored in air-tight packaging. When not in use, the equipment should be
