CONNECTING A RAIN SWITCH SENSOR

The Total Control is designed for use with a normally closed rain sensor or "Rain Switch."
(Refer to page 6 for additional important rain switch information.)
To connect the rain switch sensor:
1. Remove the 1/2" (13 mm) knockout provided in front of the power wire access
opening. Install conduit as required at this time.
2. Route the sensor wires into the cabinet
3. Remove the jumper wire from the rain sensor terminals. Connect the sensor wires to the
terminals in either order. See Figure 7.
NOTE:
Refer to the installation instructions provided with the rain sensor for additional
information.
