To install the Rototrim mowing head, it is necessary
to remove parts as in the installation of the string
head.
When using the Rototrim cutting head fit with
the protector pulled out and offset downwards.
Do not fit the line trimming blade (Fig. 3 item
24).
Place pressure piece (25) with the smooth side on
the outside.
Place the Rototrim mowing head with the
depression facing outward.
Insert pressure plate (26) for centering, with the
embossed side facing underneath and tighten
with the nut (28).
Block shaft with pin (29).
Take care that all parts are centered.
D) Fitting the chisel-tooth cutter (available as
accessory)

When using the „chisel tooth blade", the
metal debris shield 60 12 841 should be used
instead of the plastic shield.
The following parts are to be disassembled, prior to
installation:
The safety nut (28) (left-hand thread!), the nut
protector (27) and pressure plate (26).
Use pin (4) to block.
Place the cutting attachment on the pressure
plate (25). Observe rotation direction.
ount cupped side of pressure plate (26) upwards.
Position nut protector (27).
Turn safety nut (28) counter clockwise onto shaft.
Assure that all parts are centered.
Preparing the equipment for use
Block shaft with pin (29) and tighten nut.

5.4 Dual carrying shoulder strap

The brushcutter has to be balanced after the hook
(1) is placed in the strap hanger. To balance the
brushcutter the hook is hung in one of the various
fastening holes. Release the strap on the respective
hook.
When using the chisel-tooth circular saw blade, the
shoulder strap should be adjusted so that the
cutting attachment hangs freely, approx. 30 cm (12
in.) above the ground.
All other cutting units should lay flat on the ground
without touching the brushcutter.
