Suspension strap
The suspension strap enables the attachment of application-specifi c load lifting
devices if the forks are not suffi cient for your application even with a special receiver.
• Please note the guidelines here:
– Fmax. = 2200 N = load + load lifting device
– Force application point max. 350 mm in front of the front housing and centered
between the slots.
• You must provide strength evidence for your application-specifi c load lifting device; at
this point, take into account the machinery directive 2006/42/EG, section 4.(1.2.3).
Suspension strap material S235 / material-number 1.0038
• Carry out a risk assessment according to occupational safety law (D), or general
guidelines 89/391/EWG.
• Test the structural stability of the case lifter to DIN 1570 (see pages 25, 26 for an
example)
• Our recommendation: Screw the case lifter to the fl oor.
