Please note:
• Switch off the voltage
to the case lifter before
mounting and installing the
sensor unit (pull the plug).
• Install the sensor unit
in the rear slot in order
to avoid a potentially
dangerous crushing area
between the mounting
plate and sensor unit.
• Lay the cable in a loop in
the profi le slot and secure
it with the enclosed cover
profi le.

7.7 Making the electrical connection to the product
High electrical voltage!
Risk of serious injury or death from electric shock.
Make sure there is no voltage at the relevant system component before
electrically connecting, assembling, or disassembling the product.
Secure the system against unintended reactivation.
Please note:
The housing of the control electronics is sealed.
Opening the housing renders the warranty invalid.
Observe the specifi cations described in the "Installation conditions" on page 21.
Make sure you have a suitable mains connection (see "Technical data" on page 49).
Connect the control electronics to the mains connection. (For a suitable mains
cable, see page 19). Snap the plug into the lock. The lock must engage audibly
Only a person instructed in electrics may assemble the mains cable.
In the case of a fi xed connection, i.e. operating without a device plug, further
measures in accordance with your country-specifi c regulations are required
(e.g. DIN EN 61535, permanent connection in fi xed installations).
