8 Commissioning
Moving parts!
Danger of crushing body parts between the machine, periphery, or fl oor
Make sure that neither people nor objects are under the forks and in the marked
danger area during operation.
The free height under the forks in the safety stop position must be ≥ 120 mm
and the distance between the work table and moving parts of the case lifter
must be ≥ 120 mm.
Make sure that the operator can see the case lifter and the load during every
movement of the load.
The unit can tip over!
The case lifter can overturn in the event of improper use and cause injuries.
Comply with the installation conditions (see page 20).
Observe the instructions for structural stability (see page 24).
We recommend that you anchor the case lifter to the fl oor.
The load center of gravity of the container stacker must always lie on the center
axis of the case lifter and not exceed 300 mm in front of the rear stop for the
forks or 350 mm in front of the front housing.
1.
Check:
– Whether the installation conditions have been met (see page 21).
– Whether the danger area (see page 13) around the case lifter is marked.
– The structural stability of the case lifter (see page 24).
– Whether the union nuts of the plugs (hand switch, sensor unit) are tightened.
– Whether the sockets are covered with a protective cap.
– Whether all the cable are routed with protection and the installation was
accepted by an electrically qualifi ed person.
– Whether the operator can see the case lifter and the load during every movement
of the load.
– Whether the sensor unit is set at the desired working height (if available).
2.
Adjust the installed forks to the width of either the case or the fl oor roller
(see page 34).
Safety instructions:
Prior to each commissioning, check the installed lifting accessory for secure
seating and proper position (see page 33).

Unlock the EMERGENCY STOP control unit (turn the push button).
The case lifter is now ready for operation.
