3.1 Parts, operating controls and indicators
3.2 Intended use
The product described is a battery-powered rotary hammer. It is designed for hammer drilling in concrete
and masonry, for drilling in steel, wood and masonry and for driving and removing screws.
▶ Use only Hilti lithium­ion batteries of the B 22 series with this product.
▶ Use only Hilti battery chargers of the C4/36 series for charging these batteries.
3.3 Lithium­ion battery status display
When the lithium-ion battery is used the charge status can be displayed by tapping one of the battery release
buttons.
Status
4 LEDs light.
3 LEDs light.
2 LEDs light.
1 LED lights.
1 LED blinks.
Indication of the charge status is not possible while the power tool is in operation or immediately after
operation. If the battery charge status LEDs flash, please refer to the information given in the Troubleshooting
section.
3.4 Items supplied
Rotary hammer, side handle, depth gauge, operating instructions.
The TE DRS-4-A (01) dust removal module is available as an accessory that greatly reduces dust emissions.
