6. Product information
6.1 How it works
The RKPowerlift M lifting column is used to adjust the height of tables or other setting tasks of a
similar kind. It is driven by a low voltage motor.
6.1.1 Versions
The lifting column is available in two versions. The versions differ in the type of controller.
Internal controller (Start-Stop)
The controller is built into the lifting column. The lifting column is driven with a hand switch that
is connected directly to the column.
Special versions of the lifting column exist as an alternative:
Rocker switch
Traversing the lifting column using a toggle switch mounted on the outer profile.
Mains cable routing
The routing of the mains cable runs from the device socket to the device socket mounted on the
other end on the lifting column. The device mounted on the lifting column can be supplied with
power from the device socket.
Special versions
Customer-specific possibilities for connecting control elements have been implemented.
Versions without device socket: on versions without device socket installed with integrated
fuse holder, an external protection must take place on the lifting column. This is the responsibility
of the manufacturer of the product that is going to be installed in the lifting column.
External controller
The lifting column is connected with an external controller. The controller is not in the lifting co-
lumn, but in the external controller. The hand switch for driving the lifting column is connected
to the external controller.
