6.5. PREPARING THE EQUIPMENT FOR WINTER
It is recommended to prepare the equipment for winter or for a prolonged period when it is not in use. To do this, follow these steps:
• Place the pump switch in the OFF position (Fig. 21) (Pag. 58).
• Empty the filter, pump and water pipes.
CAUTION
In the event that the swimming pool freezes, it is advisable to remove the Front module from the swimming pool to avoid damage.
7. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
The filter supplies a low amount of filtered
water
The equipment does not circulate the water
The equipment circulates only a little water
The pump does not prime
The housing fills with water
On emptying the swimming pool, the
filtration module fills with water
The lamp does not light up

8. SAFETY WARNINGS

GENERAL
• The equipment described in this Manual is designed to work with clean water at temperatures lower than 35ºC.
• The Combo is designed to work with swimming pool water only and use with other types of water has not been considered.
• The equipment should be installed following the safety instructions for swimming pools.
• Contact with electrical voltage should be avoided.
• Current regulations referring to accident prevention should be followed.
• Any modification to the equipment requires prior authorisation from the manufacturer. The original spare parts and accessories authorised
by the manufacturer guarantee a higher level of safety. The manufacturer will not be held responsible for damage caused by non-
authorised spare parts or accessories.
• During operation, some parts of the equipment are at dangerous electrical voltages. Work on each element or on equipment involved
must be done after disconnecting them from the mains and after disconnecting start-up devices.
• The user must make certain that assembly and maintenance work is carried out by qualified and authorised people, who have first
carefully read the installation and service instructions.
• Operation safety of the machine is only guaranteed if installation and service instructions are followed.
• The maximum values indicated in the technical specifications should not be exceeded under any circumstances.
• In the event of faulty operation or breakdown, contact the Technical Assistance Service of the manufacturer or your nearest
representative.
• The requirements of standard UNE20-460-93 Section 7-702: ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS IN BUILDINGS. SPECIAL INSTALLATIONS
FOR SWIMMING POOLS, must be met.
WARNINGS ON INSTALLATION AND ASSEMBLY WORK
• While connecting the electrical cables to the equipment, check the inside of the connection box, make sure that debris from the cable
does not remain inside after it has been closed, and that the earth conductor is correctly connected.
• Special care should be taken that water never enters the motor or electrical parts under voltage.
• In the event that use is not the same as indicated, supplementary technical regulations and adjustments may be necessary.
• It is recommended not to drill the filtration box, as water in the ground could penetrate through any underground hole.
REASON
Hair collector basket blocked
No electrical power
Motor protector is not properly adjusted
The filter is dirty
Pre-filter of the pump or skimmer is blocked
Air entering the suction piping
Water level of the swimming pool is insufficient
Incorrect voltage
Pressure drops in suction

SOLUTIONS
Clean the hair collector basket
Check the electrical connection and ensure that
electricity reaches the inlet
Check the pump consumption and adjust the
motor protector on the control panel
Clean the filter
Clean the pump pre-filter or the skimmer basket
Check the condition of the connectors and
suction pipe joints
Fill the swimming pool until the water covers half
the hinged gate of the skimmer
Check that the mains voltage matches the
voltage indicated on the motor plate
Check that there are no components causing
abnormal pressure drops
Check all pipe connections. Fill the pre-filter of
the water pump
Install a drain to remove water from the box.
Change the installation of the drains so that each
has its own drainage pipe
Check that it is properly connected
Change the lamp
Check that the pushbutton tube is correctly
connected
