VERY IMPORTANT
• When there are still a few centimetres of water in the swimming pool and the pump has lost its suction, the pump should be
switched off by placing the pump switch in the OFF position (Fig. 21) (Pag. 58). The pump may become seriously damaged if left
to run dry.
• Once the operation has finished, disconnect the hose and place the plug to cover the suction nozzle.
• Leave the pump switch in the OFF position (Fig. 21) (Pag. 58).
5.4. OPERATION: SWIMMING POOL LIGHTING IN CODE 22440
The compact filtration unit is provided with an underwater light to light the swimming pool. To turn it on or off, simply press the pneumatic
switch of the light placed at the back of the filtration box (Fig. 13) (Pag. 57).
This light is designed to be totally submerged in fresh water swimming pools. It is a class III electrical apparatus with very low safety voltage
(12 V with alternate current).
The light meets protection grade IPX8 (resistant to the penetration of dust, solid bodies and moisture) with a nominal immersion depth of 2 m.
The light meets international lighting safety standards, particularly standard EN 60598-2-18: LIGHTING PART 2: PARTICULAR
REQUIREMENTS SECTION 18 LIGHTING FOR SWIMMING POOLS AND SIMILAR APPLICATIONS.
VERY IMPORTANT
Never turn on the underwater light if it is not submerged in water, otherwise the lamp may become seriously damaged.
6. MAINTENANCE
6.1. WASHING THE FILTER
The cartridge should be removed and washed as and when the flow falls off (approximately every 30 hours of operation).
To wash the cartridge, proceed as follows
• Place the pump switch in the OFF position (Fig. 21) (Pag. 58).
• Place the selector valve in the "washing" position and the three-way valve in the skimmer position.
• Connect the pump for two minutes. However, it is recommended to observe the viewer of the selector valve in order to determine the
precise duration.
• After the washing operation, stop the pump by placing the pump switch in the OFF position (Fig. 21) (Pag. 58).
6.2. CLEANING THE SKIMMER BASKET
The skimmer basket accumulates leaves and other particles floating in the water. The basket should be cleaned from time to time so that it
does not become blocked.
To remove the basket, proceed as follows:
• Place the pump switch in the OFF position (Fig. 21) (Pag. 58).
• Open the access cover to the Front module skimmer.
• Take the handle of the basket and turn it until it can be vertically removed (Fig. 25) (Pag. 59).
• Once leaves and other particles have been cleaned from the basket, it should be placed in position again. To secure it properly, turn the
basket inside its cavity until it locks and cannot be pulled out vertically.
6.3. CLEANING THE PRE-FILTER OF THE PUMP
It is advisable to periodically check the condition of the pre-filter of the pump to ensure that it does not become blocked. If there is
accumulated dirt, it must be opened and cleaned.
To clean the pre-filter, proceed as follows:
• Place the pump switch in the OFF position (Fig. 21) (Pag. 58).
• Remove the cover and the pre-filter basket for cleaning.
• Place the basket back in its position. Place the lid seal properly and close it.
6.4. MAINTENANCE OF THE LIGHT
CAUTION: Before handling the light, ensure that NO voltage is connected. To do this, disconnect the equipment from the electrical
supply.
To remove the light to the edge of the swimming pool, the ring trim should be removed with a screwdriver, through the four grooves of the
Ring trim (Fig. 26) (Pag. 59).
Remove the four screws 6x20 (nº. 11) (Pag. 9) (Fig. 27) (Pag. 59). Remove the light to the edge of the swimming pool.
Dismount the light by removing the nuts (nº. 15) (Pag. 9) which secure the ring trim (nº. 2) (Pag. 9) to the screen and strip unit (nº. 5)
(Pag. 9) in order to reach the lamp (Fig. 28) and (Fig. 29) (Pag. 59).
Pull the lamp (nº. 7) (Pag. 9) (Fig. 30) (Pag. 59) to separate it from the lamp holder (nº. 13) (Pag. 9) and connect the new one (Fig. 31)
(Pag. 59).
VERY IMPORTANT: To change the lamp, always use the cardboard protector and never touch the new lamp with bare hands.
Proceed to assemble the Light in the reverse of the process described with the help of a screwdriver.
Never tighten the cable.
CAUTION
• The new lamp must have the same characteristics as the one supplied with the light - 100 W 12 V halogen.
• To ensure complete water tightness, the seat of the light lens joint (nº. 4) (Pag. 9) should be cleaned or replaced if any notching or
permanent deformation is observed.
