backwash is necessary, one tank backwashes while the other tank remains
in service. When the backwash process is complete, the tank that was
backwashed goes back into service. Once again, both tanks are in service
simultaneously. When the second tank needs to be backwashed, the first
tank remains in service while the second backwashes. Overdrive service
resumes again after the backwash process.Thanks to the twin tank design,
