them on the brace.

Care instructions

Please close the hook and loop fasteners
before washing and remove the splint.
Switch the valve to "OFF". We
recommend using a laundry bag. Soap
residues, lotions and ointments can
cause skin irritation and material wear.
The cooling compress can be cleaned
carefully with water, a moistened towel
or a sponge.
• Wash the product by hand, preferably
using medi clean washing agent.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
    

Storage instructions

Keep the product in a cool, dry place and
do not expose to direct sunlight.

Knee sleeve: Cotton, nylon
Blow-up inner cushion: Polyester, nylon
Air pump: Silicone, polyethene,
synthetic rubber
Cooling compress: Propylene glycol,
sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, water
Joints: Aluminium, polyester
Liability
The manufacturer's liability will become
void if the product is not used as
intended. Please also refer to the
corresponding safety information and
instructions in this manual.
Disposal
The product can be disposed of
in the domestic waste.

In the event of any complaints regarding
the product such as damage to the fabric
or a fault in the fit, please report to your
specialist medical retailer directly. Only
serious incidents which could lead to a
significant deterioration in health or to
death are to be reported to the
manufacturer or the relevant authorities
in the EU member state. The criteria for
serious incidents are defined in Section
2, No. 65 of the Regulation (EU) 2017/745
(MDR). The traceability of this product is
assured via a UDI code
Note on additional functions of the
brace
The brace can also be used with a
cooling compress and/or with compres-
sion with the aid of an additional air
pump, dependent on the instructions of
the doctor.
Warning!
Please consult the doctor treating you
before applying compression and/or cold
therapy. This is mandatory. It may be
that this treatment is contraindicated
for you.
If the cooling compress is defective for
any reason, if it leaks and the gel comes
into contact with the skin or eyes, wash
the affected areas thoroughly with
water straight away. Never try to heat
the cooling compress in any way (e.g.
water baths, microwaving, ovens etc. are
all prohibited).
Contraindications for cooling and
compression therapy
If you have a vascular disease, circulati-
on disorder, paraesthesia or tissue
inflammation, these therapies may only
be introduced once they have been
discussed with your doctor.
