▶ Inserting and Releasing
Battery Pack
recommended in the battery/charger
list, included with your tool. Using
other types of batteries may result in
personal injury or property damage.
Slide charged battery pack into the
housing until the battery pack locks into
position (Fig. 1).
Your tool is equipped with a secondary
locking latch to prevent the battery pack
from completely falling out of the
handle, should it become loose due to
vibration.
To remove the battery pack, press the
battery pack release button and slide
the battery pack forward.
Press the battery pack release button
again and slide the battery pack
completely out of tool housing (Fig. 1).

Disconnect battery pack from tool before making any assembly,
adjustments or changing accessories. Such preventive safety measures

Turn BLADE STUD with wrench
provided clockwise and remove
BLADE STUD and OUTER WASHER
(Fig. 2). If the shaft moves while
attempting to loosen the blade stud
press the lock button (Fig. 1).

Make sure the saw teeth and arrow
on the blade point in the same
direction as the arrow on the lower
guard.
3.
Retract the lower guard all the way
up into the upper guard. While
retracting the lower guard, check
operation and condition of the
LOWER GUARD SPRING.

Slide blade through slot in the foot
