Applications, technical data
(picture 1)
Check max. working pressure (MPa) on the identifica-
tion label of the reel.
Weight, without hose ....................................... ~ 23 kg
Ambient temp .....................................-10 °C - + 60 °C
Material recyclingt .................................. 100 weight-%
18 MPA/max. 150 °C: High pressure washing.
NB! This reel must not be used for max. temperature
and max. pressure at the same time.
Mounting instruction (picture 2)
Mounting instruction Fit the swivel.
NB! The enclosed sealing washers should be used
under the nuts (picture 2A).
The reel can be wall-, floor- or ceiling mounted
according to the pictures. Maximum installation height
above floor level is 4 m. Choose a way of mounting to
avoid excessive bending of the hose against the outlet
rollers. Select a level surface on which to mount the
reel and use the template to mark the holes. Ensure
that suitable fixing bolts are used and that they are
secure. The bolts must each stand a torque force of
minimum 7300 N. Use sealing washers under the bolt
heads. Use a suitable sealing compound between the
back of the footplate and the mounting position
(picture 2B). When choosing mounting place it should
be notified that the lifetime of the hose can be affected
by chemicals and strong UV- or heat radiation.
Selecting hose
When selecting hose, see dimension and working
pressure on the reels identification label.
WARNING!
The reel is equipped with spring under
tension. Can cause personal injury!
Read the following instructions for hose fitting
carefully.

HOSE REEL
Hose fitting (picture 3)
1.
Install the reel in the intended place.
2.
Check that the safety loop is mounted.
3.
Pull the hose through the outlet of the reel and the
opening of the drum side.
4.
Connect the end of the hose onto the swivel. Then
lay the hose, fully extended from the reel, on the
floor.
5.
Fit the hose stop.
6.
Carefully release the safety loop without turning
the drum. Hang the loop on the stand as shown in
the picture.
7.
Release the latch mechanism by pulling the hose
slightly in the direction of the arrow. Then let the
hose slowly coil up on to the reel drum.
Connection to the pipework system
(picture 4)
The reel must be connected to the pipework system
with inlet hose only. Choose the right connection posi-
tion for the fixed pipework and fit the hose according
to the picture. Check that the hose is not twisted after
connection. A stop valve should be fitted on the pipe
system before the hose connection (picture 4A).
Ratchet mechanism (picture 5)
The hose reel is delivered with a ratchet mechanism
which retains the hose in the required outdrawn posi-
tion. The ratchet will disengage if the hose is drawn
out a little further and the hose then recoils to the
drum. It should be noted that the hose should be held
by hand as long as possible during the recoiling.
NB! If the hose is pulled out maximally, the ratchet
could unfortunately become permanently locked. It
may be released by following procedure (picture 5A):
1.
Remove the rubber plug from the drum side.
2.
Carefully turn the shaft 90° clockwise to the stop
position.
NB! Do not force the shaft beyond this point.
3.
Pull the hose until the ratchet is released. Then let
all the hose recoil to the drum.
4.
Turn the shaft 180° anti-clockwise, pass "click"
position to stop position.
