Adjustment of spring tension

Use protection gloves.
1. Recoil the hose until the hose stop stops against
the outlet. Pull the hose out, to a position where
the ratchet is engaged.
2. Remove the hose outlet.
3. - Increasing the spring tension:
Turn the drum, with all hose wound on one
revolution in the direction of the arrow (picture 6A).
- Decreasing the spring tension:
Turn the drum, with all hose wound on one
revolution in the direction of the arrow (picture 6B).

Check that the required length of hose can be

pulled out without stretching the spring to its limit.
Maintenance (picture 7)
The following maintenance is recommended to be
performed regularly or at least once a year.
A. Check the spring function by testing if the hose
recoils properly.
B. Check that swivel and hose couplings don't leak.
Change the seal if required. Clean the swivel and
couplings.
C. Check the reel's external seals. If any are cracked,
all should be replaced.
D. Check that the hose is intact. Clean the hose if
dirty.
E. Dismantle the hose outlet and clean the parts
manually.
F. Check the ratchet mechanism.
G. Check the mounting of the reel on wall or ceiling.

Changing the hose or swivel
WARNING!

Before starting any operation in the reel:
1. Turn off the supply of media (water).
2. Pull the hose out completely.
3. Engage the safety loop (picture 8).
4. Remove existing hose or swivel.
5. Fit a new hose or swivel.
6. Fit the intake hose on the swivel.
7. Fit suitable outlet gun on the distribution hose.
8. Turn on the supply of media (water).
