inserted into openings 1, 2 and 3 re-
spectively (see fig. 4a). In position 4
(this is the most horizontal position),
the 2 back attachment clips are not
fixed; this means you can move seat 02
to a more horizontal position. In posi-
tion 4, you must always use the safety
belt. For position 4, the metal pins
must be in opening 3.
· You can adjust the rear seat from the
upright (sitting) position by pushing
the backrest downwards while simulta-
neously moving the bracket behind the
backrest upwards.
· The horizontal position / position 4:
- Release the 2 attachment clips under
seat 02 (crossbar D).
- You can now push the backrest of seat
02 backwards until the foot end of seat
02 is almost against crossbar B. The
metal pins should now be in opening 3
(fig. 4 + 4a)
- Fastening the safety belt:
Pull the safety belt through the buckle
(crossbar B) (see fig.5) and then move
the safety belt over crossbar C. Now
pull the safety belt tight and fasten it in
place using the velcro-type fastening.
· You can raise the seat again from posi-
tion 4 by unfastening the safety belt
and then lifting the bracket behind the
backrest while guiding the seat to the
desired position with your other hand.
! NEVER forget to replace the attach-
ment clips.
! Always check that the back adjust-
ment is properly fixed in place! The
back adjustment section is shown in
fig. 4a.
! When you adjust seat 02 from posi-
tion 4 to position 1, 2 or 3, you must
always check that the attachment clips
of seat 02 have been fastened in place.
Storing or transporting the frame
· You must remove the duoseat frame
with the seats before folding the frame.
· You can also remove the hoods and
seats to make it more compact for stor-
age.
· You can remove the seats as follows:
To remove the first seat, release the
four attachment clamps. You can now
remove seat 01 from the frame. To
remove the second seat, only release
the two attachment clamps at the
bottom and then guide the metal
pins through the recesses in the back
adjustment mechanism. You can now
remove seat 02 from the frame.
