2 Explanatory notes to density determination

2.1 Methods of determination

To determine the density of solids and liquids, use the "density" application. There
are various methods of determination to choose from:

"LIQUID MODE"
•
"FIRMLY IN AIR MODE"
•
"FIRM POROUS MODE"
•
"FIRMLY ON FLOOR MODE"
2.1

Density index calculation

The density index shows the percentage difference between two densities:
To achieve this, the two densities are used in such a way that density_1 >=
density_2.
Either two successive densities are compared or the last density to be determined is
compared to the reference density entered.
2.2

Selecting the density determination application

To activate the application menu press the «MENU» KEY and select „DENSITY"
application.

APPLICATION" menu.
