• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorised service
centre or a qualified electrician in order to eliminate all risk.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Use the electric blanket with the control unit supplied only:
• control KB51 for COP410, COP420, COP710 and COP720 electric blankets
• control unit NT63 for COP430E and COP730E electric blankets
2. To connect the control to the electric blanket, insert the control unit connector (A) into the socket on
the electric blanket (B) until it clicks into place as shown in fig. 1. For double versions, the opera-
tion must be repeated for each side.
3. Lay the electric blanket directly on the mattress with the side with the electric connector facing the
mattress.
4. Check for creases and smooth if necessary.
5. Fix to the mattress using the systems provided.
• for COP410, COP710 electric blankets, pass the tapes under the mattress and attach to the slit
on the other side of the electric blanket (fig. 2).
• or COP420, COP720, COP430E and COP730E electric blankets, use the elastic corners. For
models COP430E and COP730E, if required the wool over-blanket can be separated from the
electric blanket by means of the special clips.
6. The electric blanket must NOT be turned down.
7. Place the bottom sheet on the electric blanket and make the bed as normal (fig. 2).
8. During use, do not place the control unit under the pillow or blanket (fig. 2).
9. Position the control unit ON/OFF switch (C) in the 0 position (see fig. 3) and plug the control unit
plug into a mains socket.
10. You should turn the electric blanket on an hour before going to bed. Place the switch in the I posi-
tion (on) and select the temperature level required.
11. You can select the temperature on the control unit as follows:
• KB51 control: six power levels (1: minimum, 6 maximum)
• NT63 control:

automatically after 90 minutes, 3 hours or 12 hours.
Select the temperature according to the temperature of the room and personal preferences. For
example:
• KB51 control unit. Level 1 and 2: low power for slight heating; 3 and 4: medium power; 5 and
6 high power to heat the bed when the room is particularly cold.
• NT63 control unit. Level 1 to 3: low power for slight heating; 4 to 6: medium power; 7 to 9
high power to heat the bed when the room is particularly cold.
12. Before going to bed, turn the appliance off and unplug from the mains socket.
