Storage: Store sterilized components as per instructions of the sterile barrier package or system chosen.
3.7 - INLET VALVE. The nasal irrigator features a inlet valve (5c) which should
be cleaned when dirty; it is housed under the lid located on the bottom
of the irrigator compressor body (FIG. G). To clean the valve first remove
the lid (by levering with a biro and holding down the other side of the lid)
and then the valve; finally wash the valve in water and detergent. Before
reassembling, make sure that the valve is completely dry.
ADDITIONAL CLEANING INFORMATION of the atomization chamber (with the exception of the
compressor body)
In order to avoid deposits that may clog the atomizer and the atomization chamber and consequently affect the operation of
the nasal irrigator, it is recommended that cleaning and sanitizing is performed after each use following the instructions for use
contained in this instruction manual included with the nasal irrigator.
After rinsing accurately the parts under warm tap water (40°C approx.), shake the wet parts vigorously in order to eliminate any
remaining droplets of water. Then, place the parts on a paper towel or dry them using a jet of warm air.
WARNING: Should your nasal irrigator not atomize properly after cleaning and sanitizing is performed, do not use sharp tools
(i.e. screwdrivers, scissors ends, needles, hairpins, etc.) to try to clean or unclog the atomizer or atomization chamber holes as
this could damage these parts and impair the correct operation of the unit. Instead, perform additional cleaning and sanitizing
cycles as described in the instruction manual and above recommended, until the nasal irrigator starts to operate properly again.
