Dear customer,
Congratulations on your choice of a factory-assembled
model aircraft from the robbe Modellsport range. Many
thanks for placing your trust in us.
Very little work is required to prepare the Niño ready for fly-
ing. You can make it as easy as possible to operate your
new model safely by taking the trouble to read right through
these instructions attentively, together with the separate
information sheets, before you fly it for the first time.

All directions, such as "right-hand", are as seen from the tail
of the model, looking forward.

Be sure to read and observe the instructions supplied by
the manufacturers of the battery charger and the recharge-
able cells before using these items.
Note: The plug-type charger for the flight battery is not sui-
table for charging the transmitter batteries.

The reverse switches under the cover "L" are factory-set; do
not make any changes to them.

Open the battery compartment by pressing the cover in and
sliding it downward.
Insert the cells, taking care to maintain correct polarity.
Close the battery compartment cover.
Note regarding dry cells:
Do not attempt to recharge dry cells, do not open them, and
do not dispose of them by throwing them in a fire. Remove
discharged cells from the transmitter as soon as possible,
as escaping electrolyte may damage or even ruin your
transmitter.
Take exhausted batteries to your local battery collection
point for proper disposal.

The bar diagram shows the state of the transmitter batte-
ries: if the bars glow red or do not light up at all, cease ope-
rations and replace the dry cells or recharge the rechargea-
ble cells.

Plug the battery charger into a mains socket.

The LED will glow green.
Connect the flight battery to the charger as shown in Fig. 7.
The charge process starts, and the LED changes from
"green" to "red".
When the battery is fully charged, the continuous "red" light
changes back to "green".
Disconnect the battery from the charger at the end of the
process, and unplug the charger from the wall socket.
Safety notes:
The battery charger and the flight pack must not be placed
on an inflammable surface when charging is in progress,
and should not be left unsupervised. Protect the charger
from damp.
Don't leave the charger or battery in direct sunshine, and do
not cover the charger (ventilation).
Do not attempt to recharge a battery which is hot to the
touch. Allow the pack to cool down naturally to ambient
temperature first.
The charger supplied should only be used for the recharge-
able battery included in the set.

Converting the transmitter from Mode 2 to Mode 1
The transmitter is supplied set up for Mode  as standard.
