3. BEFORE USE
1. Take the product out of the box.
2. Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.
3. Make sure all the components are included and in good conditions, otherwise,
contact immediately the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
4. OPERATION
Note: Use the appliance only on hair that is 80 % dry.
• Connect the appliance to a power supply and wait a few seconds before
pressing the on/off button.

• Place the appliance on a flat, dry and stable surface.
• Press the "+" button to increase temperature and the "-" button to decrease
it. Temperature can be set from 160 ºC to 220 ºC, in 20-ºC intervals (160-180-
200-220). The set temperature will be displayed on the LED panel.
• The temperature indicator will blink while the device preheats. Once it has
reached the set temperature, the indicator will remain steady and the device
will beep.
• Select a hair section, 5-cm wide and 1-cm thick approx. Hold it straight with
one hand, introduce it between the plates and, holding the appliance with the
other hand, close it and slide it from roots to ends.
• Repeat this step with the rest of the hair until you obtain the desired hairstyle.
• Wait until hair cools down and comb/brush it.
Warning: Avoid touching the scalp with the device to prevent skin damage.
• The appliance will automatically enter standby mode after 30 minutes of no
operation.
• Make sure to turn off the device by holding pressed the on/off button for a few
seconds once you have finished using it.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Turn off, disconnect from the mains supply and allow the device to cool
down before cleaning it.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid, or place it
under running water.
• Place the device on a heatproof surface until it cools down before
cleaning or storing it.
• Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device.
• Do not wrap the cord around the barrel.
• Store the appliance in a safe and dry place and keep it out of the reach
of children.
