Applications
The router is ideal for the processing of wood and
plastic, for the removal of knots, for the cutting of
grooves and recesses, for the copying of curves and
lettering, etc.
Before putting the router into operation
Check the mains voltage: The voltage of your power
supply must comply with the data on the machine´s
rating plate. Machines marked for 230 V can also be
operated from a 220 V supply.
General safety regulations
Always check the cable and plug before starting
with your work. Have any damage repaired by a
specialist.
Make sure the machine is switched off before
inserting the plug in the socket.
Clamp the workpiece securely to prevent it from
slipping.
Always run the cable away from the back of the
machine.
Always remove the plug from the socket before
doing any work on the machine
Check that the cutter is fitted securely before
starting up the machine.
Always make sure of your footing while using the
machine.
The direction of routing must always be opposite
to the cutter´s direction of rotation.
Do not feed the cutter into the workpiece until it is
running.
Always guide the router with both hands.
Never exceed the maximum speed specified for
the cutter.
850 W
Make allowance for the machine´s reaction torque,
particularly if the cutter jams.
When you are finished, allow the machine to glide
50 mm
back into starting position.
Be careful with long hair! Wear only tight-fitting
dia. 8 mm
clothes!
3-step
Noise
The level of noise at the workplace may exceed
85 dB(A). In this case you will need to introduce
noise protection measures for the user.
Maintenance
Keep the cooling vents on the motor housing clean
and unobstructed at all times. Blow out any dust
and dirt at regular intervals.
Check the carbon brushes in the event of
excessive sparking.
Keep the machine clean at all times.
Never use any caustic agents to clean the plastic
parts.
If ever you discover any damage, consult the
exploded drawing and parts list to determine
exactly which replacement parts you need to order
from our Customer Service Centre.
