User Guide for the
Fire Alarm Control Panels
User Levels
-
The DX Connexion Series Fire Alarm Control Panels have three available user levels for panel operation and control. At all
three levels, the LCD is the primary status indicator of the panel; detailed information on alarms and faults is presented
together with appropriate panel status LED indications.
-
User Level 1: the user control keys are inhibited restricting the front panel function to indication only. The Mute Buzzer and
Show Alarm Zones user function keys may be operable.
-
User Level 2: the user control keys are active allowing control for Mute Buzzer, Silence/Resound, System Reset, Extend
Delay, Show Alarm Zones and Evacuate. User Level 2 also allows test and disable/enable functions to be performed. User
Level 2 is reached by entering a passcode from User Level 1 or turning the keyswitch, if fitted and configured for this function.
-
User Level 3: allows full system configuration and programming. This level is for use by the installer/maintenance provider only.
