Lubrication
All the bearings in this tool are lubricated with a sufficient amount of high grade lubricant for the life of the unit under normal
operating conditions, therefore no further lubrication if required.
Environment
Electrical products must not be thrown out with domestic waste. Recycle them at the special disposal centers provided for the
purpose. Contact your local authorities or stockiest for advice on recycling.
The potential effects on the environment and human health as a result of the presence of hazardous substances in electrical
and electronic equipment.
For disposal, this tool also can be returned to the hardware store or vendor (or Dexter dealer).
Replacement of carbon brushes
If the carbon brushes need to be replaced, have this done by a qualified repair person (always replace the two brushes at the
same time).
First unplug the tool before inspecting or replacing brushes.
Insert the slotted screwdriver (not provided) into the carbon brush groove and rotate the screwdriver to loosen the carbon brush.
Replace the carbon bushes and keep the brushes clean and sliding freely in their guide channels.
Insert the screwdriver and rotate it in negative direction for tightening. Run the tool for several minutes before use, to seat the
new brushes properly.
