5.5 Operation of FSA system software
Operation of the FSA system software is done using
the PC keyboard, the USB mouse or the remote control
(special accessories) and using function keys and keys.
The function keys <ESC>, <F1> up to <F12> are hard-
keys or softkeys:

Hardkeys (<ESC>, <F1>, <F10>, <F11> und <F12>)
are keys with permanent functions. The functions for
these keys are the same in all program steps.

Softkeys (<F2> to <F9>) are keys with alternating
functions. The functions for these keys change de-
pending on the program step. Softkeys are described
in the online help.

Hard and softkeys, which are "grayed out" in the cur-
rent program step do not have a function.

Hard and softkeys are selected using the mouse, key
or remote control.

software is available in the online help.

Function
Display online help for each test step.
End current measurement or program execution.
Change from any Bosch application into the diagnostics software selection (DSA).
With DSA you can call up the various Bosch applications and, e.g. enter customer data.
One step back.
One step forward or confirm details.
Move to another button, tab or input field.
Move within a button, a tab or a list field.
Prints at any point of the program a copy of the current screen display on a protocol printer.
