WARNING! After adjusting the seat to the desired position,
first release the lever, and then continue to move the seat
until a click is heard, indicating that the lever is locked cor-
rectly into position.
WARNING! After adjusting the seat to the desired position,
always check that the safety belts are tightened correctly
around the child car seat.
WARNING! During the adjustment operations, ensure that
no movable parts come into contact with the child or other
children in the car.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the seat fabric
The seat fabric is removable and cleanable. For washing of
the child car seat cover, please refer to the fabric instruction
shown on the fabric care label. Clean the seat fabric only
with a sponge, soap and water. Do not use any solvents or
abrasive detergents. Do not tumble dry or wring the seat
fabric cover, drip dry only.
The seat fabric must only be replaced with another fabric
approved by the manufacturer, since it is an integral part of
the child car seat and therefore one of its safety elements.
WARNING! To ensure the safety of the child car seat, never
use it without its fabric.
To remove the seat fabric, first remove the restraint har-
nesses as follows:
• Press the restrain harnesses adjustment button (diagram
15) and simultaneously hold the two child car seat har-
nesses under the shoulder straps and pull towards you
to loosen them, until the fixing plate of the harnesses is
visible and accessible at the rear of the child car seat.
• Unfasten the restraint harness, by pressing the red button
on the buckle (diagram 16).
• Remove the two harness straps from the plate (diagram
26).
• Pull the harnesses from the front to remove them from the
headrest and shoulder straps (diagram 27).
• At this point, the headrest and seat fabrics can be re-
moved.
To fit the seat fabric and harnesses proceed in the
following manner:
Fit the headrest and car seat fabric cover.
Insert the two harness straps first in the seat fabric slots
(diagram 28), then through the shoulder straps and the
headrest slots (diagram 29).
Lastly, insert again the harness straps into the plate (dia-
gram 30).
WARNING! Check that the harnesses are not twisted!
Cleaning the metal and plastic parts
Clean the plastic and coated metal parts only with a damp
cloth. Never use solvents to clean plastic or coated metal
parts, in order to prevent their deterioration.
Do not lubricate the movable parts of the child car seat.
Checking the integrity of the components
It is recommended to regularly check the integrity and state
of wear and tear of the following components periodically:
a. Seat fabric cover and shoulder straps
Check that the padding does not come out from the seams,
and that it is evenly distributed.
Check the integrity of the seams.
b. Harnesses
Check that the fabric's weft is not frayed or that the har-
ness strap is worn out in the parts corresponding to the ad-
justment strap, crotch, shoulders and harness adjustment
plate.
c. Plastic
Check that the plastic parts are not worn out and do not
show any evident signs of damage or fading.
WARNING! Should the child car seat be deformed or worn,
replace it: it may no longer be safe for your child.
Storing the product
When it is not fitted into the car, it is recommended to store
the child car seat away from sources of heat and protect it
from dust, humidity and direct sunlight.
WARNING: PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE STARTING THE JOURNEY
• Ensure that any foldable, collapsible or revolving car seats
are properly secured.
• Check also that there are no loose objects in the car, espe-
cially at the rear. In the event of a crash or sudden brak-
ing, they might knock and injury the passengers.
• Ensure that no heavy objects are placed on the child car
seat, to prevent injuries or harm to the passengers.
• The child car seat must always be fitted correctly, even if
no child is seated on it.
• Ensure that no objects are placed between the child car
seat and the car seat itself, or between the child car seat
and the car door.
• Check that no part of the child car seat is caught in the car
doors or rub against cutting edges.
• Always check that the vehicle safety belt is correctly fitted
around the child car seat.
• Check that the vehicle seat belt is as tight as possible,
ensuring that it is fastened correctly and not twisted.
If the vehicle is left exposed to direct sun light, check the
child car seat carefully before seating the child on it, ensur-
ing that its parts are not overheated: in such an event, let
the child car seat cool first down before seating the child, to
prevent the risk of burns.
• Check that the child's restraint harnesses are fastened
and adjusted correctly, ensuing that they are not twisted.
• Keep plastic bags and dangerous objects away from the
child to prevent the risk of suffocation or other dangers.
INSTRUCTIONS TO BE FOLLOWED DURING
THE JOURNEY
• In the case of emergency, it is very important to remove
the child from the seat as quickly as possible. For this
reason, the buckle button is easy to reach and operate:
check regularly that during transportation, your child does
not tamper with or open the fastening buckle of the safety
belts.
• When travelling, stop the vehicle in a safe place before
carrying out any operations on the child car seat or if your
child needs attending to.
• If the vehicle is left exposed to direct sun light for a long
time, always cover the child car seat to prevent the over-
heating of any of its parts or fading of fabrics.
• Never leave your child in the car unattended.
• 0n long journeys make frequent stops. Children tire easily.
Never take your child out of the child car seat, whilst the
car is moving for any reason.
• Do not let other children play with parts or components of
the child car seat.
• Always ensure that all passengers in the car wear safety
belts for their own safety, and because they could seri-
ously injure your child in the event of an accident.
