• Before starting up the machine, carefully read this manual and the manual of any combustion engine
equipping the machine. In particular, make sure you have fully understood how the machine works as
regards liquid on/off operations.
• The machine is not intended to be used by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensorial
or mental capacities, or who lack the experience and expertise, unless they are able to benefit, through
the intermediation of a person responsible for their safety, from supervision or instructions concerning
the use of the machine and of any combustion engine equipping the machine.
• Children must be supervised to make sure they do not play with the machine.
• Pay particular attention when using the machine where vehicles are moving that could possibly drive
over the power lead, delivery pipe or lance and possibly ruin them.
• Observe the safety warnings given in the manual of any optional accessories used.
• Before starting the machine it must be put in a dry place, on a flat and stable surface to avoid any falls or
tipping over.
• Carry out the steps described in the
• Before using the machine, wear garments that guarantee adequate protection from erroneous manoeuvres
with the jet of pressurised fluid and from the chemical products used.
• During operation:
- always keep an eye on the machine and out of the reach of children; in particular, be very careful when
using near nurseries, clinics and old-people's homes, in case of children, elderly people or disabled
people without supervision;
- do not direct high-pressure jets against materials containing asbestos or other substances harmful for
the health;
- do not cover the machine and do not place it where ventilation is prevented (remember this above all
when using the machine in closed environments); do not use the machine on closed premises if it is
driven by a combustion engine;
- when not in operation, before leaving it without supervision, even for a short time, prior to all topping up
with the chemical product and before doing any jobs, perform the operations described in the
paragraph. In particular, do not leave the machine with the plug in the power socket (in the case of a
machine equipped with combustion engine, disconnecting the spark plug contact is equivalent to
removing the plug from the power socket);
- operating pressure must never exceed the maximum set for the machine (see also
AND TECHNICAL DATA"
- in the case of a thermal or ampere cut-out protection with automatic setting tripping, always move the
master switch to "0" position and, if present, remove the plug from the power socket because, once
cooled, the machine could start up again on its own;
- use adequate personal protective equipment to safeguard against noise emissions (e.g., ear muffs);
- grip the lance firmly because when you use the control lever to dispense the product there will be a
kickback from the high-pressure jet.
•
. Do not use the machine near people if these are not wearing personal protective equipment.
