The appliance warms the food up to 160–170°F (70–75°С), and maintains
the temperature for up to 24 hours. To cancel the function press KEEP
WARM/CANCEL. The button indicator goes off.
The function may operate for a period of 24 hours, however, we recommend
using it moderately, because a prolonged thermal exposure may sometimes
affect the flavor of the meal or dry it.
Standard Operating Procedure for Automatic Programs
1. Measure the ingredients according to the recipe and place them into the
removable bowl
2. Make sure that all ingredients including liquid are below the scale
mark indicating maximum capacity. Position the bowl inside the
appliance. The bowl must make full contact with the heating element.
3. Close the lid until it clicks into place. Plug in the appliance.
4. Press MENU repeatedly to select the program (the corresponding
indicator lights up).
5. Use the SELECT PRODUCT button to select the product in BOIL/STEAM,
SAUTE, and MULTICOOK. Use the COOK MODE button in the COOK
program to select the subprogram (VACUUM, SLOW COOK, OATMEAL/
GRAINS). Each subprogram features its own default time which is
being displayed.
6. Adjust the time if necessary.

Delay the program if necessary. TIME DELAY is not available in SAUTE
and PASTA.
8. Press the START button. The START button indicator lights up.
The program and the countdown start. In the STEAM program
countdown starts only when water comes to a full boil, providing
enough steam. In the MULTICOOK and SAUTE programs countdown
starts only when the device reaches its operating temperature. In
PASTA – after the water comes to a full boil, products are added, and
the START button is being repressed.
9. After the cycle is complete an audible signal is heard. The appliance
automatically switches to KEEP WARM (the KEEP WARM / CANCEL
button indicator lights up).
10. To interrupt or to cancel the program, to disable the KEEP WARM
function press the KEEP WARM / CANCEL button.

programs, we recommend you use the versatile program MULTICOOK,
featuring wide time and temperature adjustments. This program gives
endless opportunities for new culinary experiments.
MULTICOOK Program
You can use the program to cook any dish with your personal time and tem-
perature settings. REDMOND RMC-M4502A, featuring the MULTICOOK program
can replace a large number of kitchen appliances. Now any recipe, either from
your family cookbook or the Internet, can be adjusted for your multicooker.
Default time depends on the types of the products selected: VEGETABLES,
FISH, MEAT. Default temperature is 320°F (160°C).
Cook time can be adjusted from 5 minutes to 12 hours in 1 minute inter-
vals (for a period of 5 minutes up to 1 hour) and 5 minutes intervals (for
a period of 1 hour to 12 hours).
Use the TEMPERATURE button to set 7 temperature adjustments from
100°F (40°C) to 320°F (160°C).
Various dishes can be prepared with the help of MULTICOOK. Follow
the recommendations of our Rrecipe Book and the MULTICOOK
Temperature Adjustment Recommendations in the back of the Manual
BOIL/STEAM Program
The program is recommended for boiling different food and for steaming
meat, fish, vegetables.
Default time depends on the type of product selected: VEGETABLES, FISH,
MEAT. It can be adjusted from 5 minutes to 1 hour in 1 minute intervals.
To steam:
1. Use the steam tray provided.
2. Fill the bowl with 2 ½ – 4 cups (600–1000 ml) of water. Place the
steam tray inside the bowl.
