Technical data safety glasses
Glasses frames
Use: These safety glasses are only to be used by authorized, trained
personnel.
Purpose: These KaWe safety glasses are solely intended to be used
to protect the wearer's eyes from splashing fluids during medical
examinations and operations.
Unsuited use/contraindication of the products: Any use other
than that described here is not in accordance with the intended use
of the unit. The manufacturer is not liable for any resulting damages.
The user alone bears the risk.
Further instructions, maintenance, and storage: When used
and stored properly, this product will serve you reliably for many years.
Guarantee: When used properly and in accordance with the User's
Manual we guarantee this product for two years from the date of pur-
chase. Should you need further information or should your instrument
require repair, please contact your dealer.
Safety warning: 1. These safety glasses may only be used if
they are in perfect condition. 2. Do not use the safety glasses if they
have any loose screws. 3. Caution – do not drop the glasses – they
may break! 4. In order to avoid eye damage, do not look into the sun
or any other bright light while wearing these safety glasses! These
glasses do not provide UV protection!

Storage and transportation: See Section C.
Cleaning preparation: No special requirements
Manual cleaning: The exterior surface of this product can be clea-
ned with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth. Soap or other non-aggressive
agents may be used. The glass surfaces can be carefully wiped clean
with KaWe cleaning spray as described in Section B.
Automatic cleaning: Automatic cleaning not possible/necessary.
Disinfection: The ear pieces can be wiped clean with a cloth that has
been moistened with alcohol. Always dry all surfaces after cleaning
them.
Maintenance: When used and cleaned properly, these safety
glasses are maintenance-free. The fastening screws are only to be

loosened by authorized professional technicians.
Inspection and functionality test: Check all moveable parts such
as joints. All devices: check for visible damage or wear.
Packaging: Packed individually in boxes.
Sterilisation: Sterilisation is neither necessary nor possible.
Storage: Store in a dry place between +5 and +60 °C, see Section C.
Disposal: This product is to be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations at a separate waste collection site/recycling centre.
