To replace the batteries, proceed as follows:

Remove the screw under the hand transmitter and open the transmitter.

Replace the battery.
Make sure that the polarity is correct when you insert the battery (battery type
CR2032 3 V). The positive terminal is at the top.
The battery is available e.g. in photo shops, clock shops, etc.

Refit the lid on the hand transmitter and re-insert the screw.

Programming the remote control
MagicTouch can be operated using up to five hand transmitters. If a sixth hand trans-
mitter is programmed, MagicTouch deletes the first; a seventh deletes the second
etc.
Proceed as follows to program a new hand transmitter:

Use a hand transmitter to open the vehicle.
➤
Sit down in the vehicle.
➤
Close all doors without locking them.
➤
Switch on the ignition.
➤
Now press both blue buttons simultaneously on a functioning hand transmitter
until the central locking system locks the vehicle.

The system is now in programming mode.

If you do not press a button within 10 seconds, you exit programming mode.

Press one of the three buttons of the new hand transmitter until the central
locking system is opened for confirmation of the new code.
➤
Test the new hand transmitter.
➤
If the new hand transmitter does not work, repeat the previous worksteps.

Deleting a hand transmitter
You can disable a hand transmitter, e. g. if it has been lost, from use with your radio
remote control by re-coding the hand transmitters that may still be used.

Recode these hand transmitters five times in succession by programming them
as described in chapter "Programming the remote control" on page 63.
