What's Your Job?

If You're the Operator:
You're the person who runs the press every day (or night). If you have the optional
scanner connected, you can program jobs using the many features available on the digital
press Touch Screen.
You may also be responsible for a few simple maintenance tasks and will probably clear
any paper jams that may occur. You could also be responsible for maintaining adequate
supplies of a variety of paper stocks and a few consumable products used by the press,
such as dry ink/toner and fuser oil.
Refer to the Maintenance chapter in the Operator Manual for more information on
maintenance procedures and ordering supplies.
If You're the System Administrator:
As the SA, you'll set up any required passwords on the digital press and change default
settings in the Tools Mode to suit the requirements of your business. You're also
responsible for installing print drivers on user workstations. Refer to the Color Server
documentation for the number of workstations that can be connected.

setting defaults and passwords.
