Use
The SCHUBERTH F 300 firefighter's helmet is available in 2 shell sizes (M and L).
The helmet shells are approved for the following head size ranges:
Size M = 48 cm to 58 cm
Size L = 59 cm to 65 cm
Setting the head size
The head size is set to the individual head size of the
wearer by turning the head size quick-adjustment
feature on the back.
A comfort neck padding is located on the inside of the
turn-lock fastener.
Setting the carrying height
The 4-point suspension of the carry net (carrying
height!) is set by narrowing or widening the four
Velcro straps at the ends of the carry net.

Setting the chinstrap/neckstrap
The quick-release fastener located on the chinstrap provides easy opening and
closing of the chinstrap. Hold the helmet with both hands on the chinstrap/
neckstrap and pull it over the head from the forehead. If necessary, adjust the
head size and use the quick-release fastener to fasten the chinstrap.
The neckstrap must be firmly fitted below the ears
and at the back of head. A clasp is provided on the
right-hand side (from the wearer's perspective) to
adjust the neckstrap length.
The chinstrap length can be adjusted individually for
different face shapes at two positions. The length of
the vertical strips can be adjusted on the two-piece
clasps at the left-hand and right-hand sides.
It is also possible to set the length of the chinstrap
under the chin by loosening or tightening the Velcro
strap. These two settings can be used to change the
position of the plug lock so that it is at the most
comfortable point for the wearer. The chinstrap must
be fitted as closely as possible under the chin.
Attention: The SCHUBERTH F 300 helmet meets the
requirements of standard DIN EN 443:2008 for the restraint system if the
chinstrap supplied by the manufacturer is worn and adjusted pursuant to
these regulations.
