Instructions for use
The SCHUBERTH F 300 firefighter's helmet is intended for use in firefighting in
buildings, rescue/recovery work, for work in connection with road traffic
accidents and in general for all work that falls within the scope of firefighters'
duties. Any other applications must be excluded and shall release SCHUBERTH
from any liability.
Attention: The protective function can only be attained if the helmet fits
optimally, the headband has been adjusted to the head circumference and
the chinstrap/neckstrap is closed. Removable parts must not be worn
separately. Only wear the helmet when it is fully assembled.
Attention: The helmet is designed to absorb the effect of only one
impact. Like the crumple zone of a car, the impact energy of a collision is
absorbed by the complete or partial destruction of the helmet shell
structure. Even if damage is not immediately visible, the helmet is to be
replaced after any impact or forceful blow.
Liability for function and/or damage
The liability for the function of the SCHUBERTH F 300 firefighter's helmet shall
be borne by the owner or operator if the SCHUBERTH F 300 firefighter's helmet
is incorrectly maintained or repaired by any person who does not belong to
SCHUBERTH GmbH or has not been trained by SCHUBERTH GmbH, or if it is
handled in any way that is contrary to the intended use. SCHUBERTH GmbH
accepts no liability for damage caused by failure to comply with the above
instructions.
