Removal and installation of the stowage

box must be carried out by two people.

Firmly hold the stowage box and

completely unscrew all thumb screws 4
on the left and right-hand sides.
Lift the stowage box off the load area.

Remove threaded plates 5 from guide

rails 8.
Screw threaded plates 5 onto thumb

screws 4.
Notes on installation:
To install the stowage box, perform the steps
in reverse order.In doing so, please note:
The handle of the stowage box must be
facing towards the tailgate.

When closed, the stowage box is air-tight.
There is a risk of suffocation. Do not
transport people or animals in the stowage

box.

The stowage box may become
electrostatically charged. Electrostatic
charge can discharge with sparks.
Materials which react aggressively can
catch fire as a result of the sparks and may,
in turn, lead to severe material damage,

injury or death.
Do not store, transport or handle
aggressively reacting substances on the
load area.
Examples of materials which are a risk to
health and/or react aggressively include:
Solvents

Fuel
^
Oils and grease
^
Cleaning agents
^
Acid

In the case of substances which are
hazardous to health and substances which
react aggressively, gases or fluids may still
escape even if the substances are stored in
completely closed containers. This may
lead to malfunctions of the stowage box.
There is a risk of fire and an accident. Do
not store or transport in the stowage box
substances which are hazardous to health
and/or which react aggressively.
