High temperatures can develop in the
closed stowage box. People and animals
must not remain in the closed stowage
box. Do not transport heat-sensitive or
flammable loads.
Observe the instructions on loading the
vehicle as described in the „Seats and
stowage" section of your vehicle Operating
Instructions.
Do not attach loads directly to the stowage
box. To secure loads, use the lashing eyelets
on the load area which are designed for this
purpose.
Do not sit or take up place on the stowage
box.
Driving
When driving, the stowage box must be
closed.
Troubleshooting
Problem
The lid cannot be opened. The flaps are locked on the left and/or right.
Cleaning and care
Observe the notes on cleaning and care in
the „Maintenance and care" section of the
vehicle Operating Instructions.
With the stowage box installed, you can drive
through an automatic car wash.
Take care that the stowage box does not
come into contact with substances or liquids
which could corrode the plastic. If this
happens, clean the stowage box with plenty
of water and a mild detergent.
Maintenance
The stowage box is maintenance-free.
Technical data
! Due to its own weight, the stowage box
reduces the maximum payload of your
vehicle. Always comply with the
permissible gross weight of your vehicle.
