During operation:
•
The floor surface is most efficiently cleaned by driving long straight lines and only few curves.
•
105 litres of fresh water are sufficient for approx. 40 - 60 minutes of cleaning depending on the water volume setting and the cleaning speed.
•
The operating (driving) duration is between 2.0 and 4.0 hours depending on brush pressure, floor structure, suction power, speed and work tools
(brush, pad).
•
The following functions can be set while driving the machine
•
LRS (Long Running System) - This mode ensures operation with minimum energy consumption. (low brush pressure, low suction power and
low water consumption). If this mode is active, the LRS button on the display flashes.
• PShot Power Shot. In this mode cleaning with full power is activated for 6 seconds (highest brush pressure, high suction power and highest
water volume) in order to remove stubborn stains.
•
The following parameters can be set in all cleaning programmes (PGM 1-3):
•
Water volume in relation to driving speed (1=0 - 2.0L/min., 2=0 - 3.3L/min., 3=0 - 4.6L/min., 4=0 - 6.0L/min.).
• Brush pressure steps (1=30kg, 2=50kg, 3=70kg, 4=100kg).
• Suction power in relation to floor structure (1=80mbar, 2=110mbar, 3=140mbar, 4=170mbar).
• Chemicals dosing in relation to viscosity of the chemical (0.2%, 0.5%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 5%).
After operation:
•
Drain content of recovery water tank into a sewerage system and flush tank with water. Leave tank open for moisture to dry.
•
Drain content of fresh water tank into a sewerage system. Leave tank open for moisture to dry and clean filter.
Press brush ejection button (refer to „Touch screen menu navigation"). Rinse brushes or pad drive disk with water and leave to dry.
•
Turn key switch and press emergency stop button.
•
Charging of the battery may take up to 12 hours. Connect mains cable with mains plug (see „Machine overview") to a socket outlet (230V).
•
If the machine is not in use, always remove the key to prevent unauthorised use.
Hints & tips
•
When changing direction, the freely moveable front wheels flip which will lead to a brief side movement of the machine.
Do not carry out any steering movements during this action of the wheels.
•
The machine's turning radius depends on the speed.
•
When steering while braking, the braking distance is extended, particularly when driving down ramps.
•
The machine can only be driven, if the seat switch is activated by the sitting operator.
•
If the machine is not in use, the magnetic brake is automatically activated.
•
The machine can be moved manually (only with batteries) by pressing the brake switch.
•
There is a danger of skidding at high speeds when performing abrupt changes of direction on slippery floors.
•
You can switch from slow to fast mode while driving. Use only, if there are no obstructions nearby.
•
You can switch from forward to reverse mode in standstill only.
•
While driving use the emergency stop button in a real emergency only. (Heavy wear of the magnetic brake)
•
If there are no activities for more than 1 minute, the machine switches off automatically.
•
There can be several warning messages on the touch screen, which can be cleared simply by clicking.
•
When the full recovery water tank indicator illuminates on the touch screen, the recovery water tank must be emptied.
Read this before operation!
Instructions must be read and understood by the user before using the machine for the first time. They contain important instructions on
operation, servicing and care for correct use. They must be kept handy at all times.
Concepts, descriptions
Emergency stop button: By pressing this button, the connection between the battery and the machine is interrupted and all units are switched
off. If the emergency button is pressed while driving forward or backward, the machine drive system is stopped. The drive system is blocked
until the emergency stop button is unlocked.
1. Proper use
•
This machine is designed for industrial floor cleaning of hard floor coverings in interior areas in adherence this operating manual.
