NOTE:
• Speeds 1 to 4 are sufficient for mincing.
• Do not use the appliance for more than 10 minutes, and then leave it to cool down
for a further 10 minutes.
• You can switch off the appliance after each sausage until you feel more confident.
• Carry out step 8 as described. Then switch the meat mincer on again.
• If you decide to use natural casing, let it soak in water for a while before using.
• Do not overfill the sausage casing (leave it a little "floppy"), as the sausage meat
could expand during boiling or frying, which could lead to tears in the casing.
VEGETABLE CUTTER
Initial use - General information
Raise the front protective housing (3a) of the spiral drive system and push the

Insert the vegetable cutter housing (17) into the spiral drive system with the funnel

facing upwards and release the switch (2) until the housing is fitted in place.
Choose a cutting cone [fine grating (18a)/coarse grating (18c) or slicer (18b)].

Insert the cutter cone into the vegetable cutter housing, positioning its open side to
the front.
Using the vegetable cutter
Check that the control dial (5) is at the off position (OFF/0).

Plug the device into a secure 230V/50Hz mains supply.

Switch on the appliance and select speed 5 - 6 using the control dial (5).

Push the ingredients in using the presser (16). Do not touch them with your fingers.

Useful tips:
• Risk of burns! Take care with hot liquids.
• Opening the locking cap (19) lets you add
ingredients when the blender is in use. To do
this, remove the blender lid locking cap (19).
• You may have to switch off the device several times in order to unstick bits of
ingredients stuck to the inside wall of the blender.
– Switch off the appliance and unplug it.
– Remove the locking cap (19) and lid (20).
– U nstick the pieces of ingredients stuck to the inside wall of the blender (21)
with a soft spatula.
Keep the spatula a safe distance from the blade.
