Switching on the refrigerator
8.1
Switching on with a 220 V – 240 V supply
➤ Make sure:
– The power switch for 12 V operation (fig. 1 1, page 3) is in the "Off"
position
– The gas cock (fig. 1 4, page 3) is closed.
➤ Set the thermostat (fig. 1 2, page 3) to "7".
➤ Put the power switch for 220 V – 240 V operation (fig. 1 2, page 3) in the
"On" position.
✓ The red lamp lights up.

Switching on with a 12 V supply
➤ Make sure:
– The power switch for 220 V – 240 V operation (fig. 1 2, page 3) is in
the "Off" position
– The gas cock (fig. 1 4, page 3) is closed.
➤ Put the power switch for 12 V operation (fig. 1 1, page 3) in the "On" position.
8.3
Putting the refrigerator into operation
➤ Make sure:
– The power switch for 12 V operation (fig. 1 1, page 3) is in the "Off"
position
– The power switch for 220 V – 240 V operation (fig. 1 2, page 3) is in
the "Off" position.
➤ Open the valve on the gas bottle.
➤ Turn the gas cock (fig. 1 4, page 3) to position " ".
➤ Push in the gas cock (fig. 1 4, page 3) and hold it for 15 seconds.
➤ At the same time, press the igniter (fig. 1 5, page 3).
➤ With the gas cock pushed in, check if the pilot light (fig. 1 6, page 3)
flares.
➤ Let go of the gas cock (fig. 1 4, page 3).
➤ Check whether the pilot light (fig. 1 6, page 3) continues to flare.
