The row of the selected unit will be displayed in a darker colour.
The operation panels display additional information concerning
the selected unit.
The Operation Panels area has the following options:
1. Setting: Adjusts the operation parameters of the selected
indoor unit.
2. Timer: Configures the timer of each unit.
3. Unit Configuration: Parameters that define each unit and
refrigerant circuit.
4. System Status: Diagram of the selected refrigerant cycle.
5. Auto Cool/Heat: Operation parameters of the optional
function for automatic selection of the operation mode of the
selected unit's refrigerant cycle.
"Unit Configuration" option
- Location: Name of the room that is conditioned by this unit
- Area: Area to which this unit belongs.
- IU Type: Model of the indoor unit that was recognised by the
system
- IU Model: Exact model of the indoor unit.
- OU Type: Model of the outdoor unit that was recognised by
the system. (3*)
- OU Model: Exact model of the outdoor unit.
- OU is FX: Indicates that the outdoor unit is a 3-pipe unit (3*)
- OU is R410A: Indicates that the refrigerant is R410A (3*)

6. Cold Draft: In VRF systems, when load is very low and
only few units are working in a system, it is possible that
discharge air temperature is reduced below comfort value.
With this new option HITACHI improves comfort for these
situations by setting unit to Thermo OFF when discharge air
temperature is below comfort temperature and set unit again
to Thermo ON when temperature will be again inside comfort
range.
Note:
- Only the Unit Configuration option is part of the
configuration process.
- For information concerning the other options, please
contact your Hitachi distributor.
- RCS Group: Number of the Remote Controller that is used
by more than one indoor unit, incluiding this one (1*)
- CH Box: Number of the CH distribution Box used by more
than one indoor unit, including this one.(2*)
Notes:
1* If the RCS is used by only one IU, this number is not
required.
2* If the CH is used by only one IU, this number is not
required.
3* All of the data related to the OU is shown directly to the
other IU in the same refrigerant circuit.
Click 'Update' to update the data.
Click the "Unit Configuration"
option to select it:
Data should be entered in the
fields that are not shaded.
The shaded fields indicate
data that is automatically
detected by means of the
H-Link transmission.
