1) place the electric pump on one side;
2) remove the lower seals closing the hydraulic part on the suction side;
3) remove the strainer head if installed, and the lower shield;
4) remove the impeller locking screw and the impeller itself;

5) if the electric pump is the two stage type, proceed by demounting the entire hydraulics in succession;
6) remove the spring rings, the lip and mechanical seals, check their condition and replace them if necessary;
7) remount the electric pump by complying with the demounting procedure in reverse, replacing the hydraulic parts if worn and the retaining rings if

2) remove the motor inspection screw;
3) if traces of liquid are noted, check the condition of the mechanical seal on the pump side by means of the relative procedure;
the pump side in compliance with the relative procedure.
* Checking the mechanical seal on the pump side:
2) remove the nuts closing the hydraulics at the side, immediately above the strainer head;
3) remove the strainer head and lower shield;
4) remove the impeller locking screw and the impeller itself;
5) remove the mechanical seal, check its condition and replace it if necessary;
6) check the hydraulic part of the electric pump. Comply with the relative procedure if it is worn;
7) remount the electric pump by complying with the demounting procedure in reverse;
* Checking the hydraulics:
1) place the electric pump on one side;
2) remove the screws closing the hydraulics at the side, immediately above the strainer head;
3) remove the strainer head and lower shield;
4) if the impeller is worn, remove the locking screw and replace it;
5) replace the lower shield if it is worn;
6) remount the lower shield;
7) adjust it if necessary by means of the set of nuts and check nuts around the suction mounth in order to move it near to the impeller, checking that
this remains free to turn;
8) remount the strainer head.
6.4 Inactivity:

7 DISPOSAL OF A NO LONGER USABLE ELECTRIC PUMP:
When dismantling the product, the technician must proceed with the relative phases in strict compliance with the local rules and regulations
governing such activity.
8 WARRANTY:
The general conditions of sale governing all products manufactured by Caprari S.p.A. are also valid for the electric pump unit in question.
In particular, remember that one of the essential conditions for recognition of the warranty is compliance with all the individual instructions given in
the enclosed documentation and the best hydraulic and electrotechnical provisions, fundamental condition to ensure regular operation of the electric
pump unit. Malfunction caused by wear and/or corrosion is not covered by the warranty.
Sales Centers. Failure to comply with the instructions in the documentation supplied with the electric pump shall void all form of guarantee and shall
relieve the manufacturer from all responsibility in merit.
