Keeping Warm

If the water in the kettle (3) is to be kept at a certain temperature for a prolonged period, the
keep-warm function can be switched on. This is particularly advisable if tea is being prepared in
the kettle.
The device switches off the heating element once the water has reached the set temperature
and switches it back on again as soon as the temperature of the water drops.
1. Press the keep-warm button (12). The control lamp in the button lights up.
2. Heat the water to the temperature you want (see the "Preparation" chapter | "Boiling
Water" or "Preparation" | "Heating Water").

ted temperature button) continue to be lit up constantly. The water is reheated as soon as
it starts to cool down. As soon as the thermostat switches the heating back on, the control
lamp for the selected temperature button lights up again.
3. The kettle can be removed from the base station (4) and placed back on it at any time. The
keep-warm function remains switched on.
4. If the keep-warm function is to be switched off, press the On / Off button. A long beep is
heard and all three control lamps go out.
5. Pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down before it is
cleaned and / or stored away (see the "Cleaning and Care" chapter).
The keep-warm function switches off automatically after two hours.
