Brewing tea
Hints and tips:
Thanks to the practical tea strainer (14) you do not need paper filters with this
appliance.
Your tea will taste best when the appliance is clean. Clean it regularly as described in
chapter 7.
Do not reuse tealeaves a second time, as this will greatly impair the flavour of your tea.
1. Take the lid of the tea strainer with the push rod (17) out of the tea pot (13).
2. Put either tealeaves or tea bags in the tea strainer (14).
3. Boil fresh water with the water boiler (1) as described above.
4. Pour the boiling water into the glass pot.
NOTE: Always be careful while handling hot water, in order to avoid personal
injuries.
5. Replace the lid of the tea strainer with the push rod (17) on the glass tea pot (13).
6. When the tea has brewed for long enough, press the push rod (17) down. Depending
on the amount, most of the tealeaves are now packed in the bottom part of the tea
strainer (14) and no longer give any flavour to the tea.
ATTENTION: Never cool the hot glass tea pot (13) down with cold water.
