WARNING:
Danger of injury! Switch the appliance off and pull the plug out of the socket,

To transport the cylinder vacuum cleaner, you can carry it by the carrying-handle (Fig. 9/A1).
You may also carry the appliance by the dust container guide (Fig. 9/B1), provided the housing-cover is
closed.
ATTENTION:
Only carry the appliance by the dust container guide (Fig. 9/B1) if the housing cover is closed and both
release catches (Fig. 9/B2) are securely engaged.
To park the appliance when interrupting work you can hook the floor nozzle's parking-hook into one of the
parking-brackets (Fig. 10/A).
To store the appliance you can hook the telescopic tube's storage hook onto the storage bracket (Fig. 10/B).
For storage, we recommend to first push the telescopic tube together by pressing the release catch (Fig. 1/12)
ATTENTION:
Never store the appliance next to heat sources (e.g. stoves or radiators). Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight.
Heat can damage the appliance.
Before storing the appliance for a prolonged time empty the dust container

Always store the appliance in a cool, dry place and out of reach of children.
Empty the dust container after each vacuuming session, but at the latest when the "MAX" mark (Fig. 11/1)
has been reached or the cleaning indicator (Fig. 1/2) lights up.
ATTENTION:
Switch off the appliance before emptying the dust container. This will prevent dust from damaging the
appliance.
1. Press the release latch on the bottom side of the suction hose connector (Fig. 11/2) and pull it out of the
intake opening.
2. Press the release catches (Fig. 12/1) on both sides and open the housing cover until it stays open by itself.
3. Remove the dust container by pulling it upwards out of its receptacle. (Fig. 13).
NOTE:
Take care that you don't accidentally press the release catch for emptying when lifting out the dust container.
4. Empty the dust container by holding it low over a dustbin and only then push the release catch of the bottom
plate (Fig. 14/1).
NOTE:
You can dispose of the contents of the dust container with your regular domestic waste as long as it does not
contain any substances not permitted in domestic waste.
5. Remove any residual dust from the dust container using a dry cloth or a soft brush, e.g. the supplied
furniture brush.
6. Fold the bottom plate back up.
7. Also clean the filters on this occasion. Clean these if necessary,
fleece and filter sieve",

8. Put the dust container back into its holder.
9. Close the housing cover. The release buttons must click shut audibly. Check that the housing cover is fitted
securely.
10. Insert the end of the suction hose into the intake opening until it snaps into place. Make sure that the latch
points downwards.
