9. Repairs, maintenance and disposal

The Ants LES01 basically require minimal maintenance. If a component is defective, the complete
PSU01 must be replaced.
The PSU01 performs an annual relay test and thus checks that the safety relay and other components
function correctly. This relay test can also be triggered by a compatible control (see programming
manual).

9.1 Replacing components

The PSU01 can also be replaced as an overall system (sensor and Evaluation Unit).

9.2 Maintenance

The maintenance must be performed at least once a year. The following must be checked:
1. Check the PSU01 for visible damage and remove any contamination.
2. Check the function according to 8. In addition, check whether the door zones still switch
(terminals 22-24) in compliance with all stops.
3. If the PSU01 must be wired wit the inspection, the following must be tested during normal elevator
plant operation. In case a check yields a negative result, it must be assumed there is capacitively
coupled interference in the inspection circuit. It must be eliminated by the customer. If the test still
yields a negative result, it must be assumed that there is a defective PSU01 component, which must
be replaced:
a. the SK indicator lamp on the board must light up in normal operation.
b. the SK indicator lamp on the board must be off in inspection mode.
4. The operating efficiency of the time-delayed limit switches must be checked.
5. For maintenance of the Ants LES01 (Sensor), refer to the operation manual (R60200.0009).

9.3 Traceability

We recommend ensuring the traceability of products that carry out functional safety system tasks. This
is critical for fast response times in the market.

9.4 Disposal

Position Supervisor Unit (PSU01) is designed to ensure that it has a minimal negative impact on
the environment. It does not emit any pollutants, does not contain any substances that are harmful
to the environment and only consumes very little energy during operation. Unusable or irreparable
devices as well as those which have reached the end of their product lifecycle must be disposed of in
accordance with the respective applicable waste disposal regulations for electrical waste. The plastic
housing can be disposed of as residual waste.

9.5 Order information and spare parts

All components can only be reordered as a complete product. Components cannot be replaced.
